Ashwagandha

As per the National Institutes of Health website “in many clinical trials, ashwagandha has been well tolerated by participants for up to about 3 months of use. Common side effects are mild and include stomach upset, loose stools, nausea, and drowsiness“.
Research suggests that Ashwagandha is safe to use in most cases but we honestly don’t know enough about it.
We don’t know whether it is helpful in any way at all or whether it is just a placebo. Safe to say, more research is needed.
